Its been a minute but the Handsomegent Traveler is back!!!! I recently took a quick trip Tulum, Mexico, and I must say, it was HOT!!!. The moment I stepped off the plane, I was hit with a wave of warm, humid air that immediately put me in vacation mode. Tulum is the perfect destination for anyone looking to turn up with friends, enjoy some beach time, and experience the vibrant nightlife.
**The Beach Life**
The beaches in Tulum are truly stunning, with crystal-clear waters and powdery white sand. I spent hours lounging under the shade of a palm tree, soaking up the sun and enjoying the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. There are plenty of beach clubs to choose from, each with its own unique vibe and amenities.
**Nightlife**
Tulum's nightlife is where things get really exciting. The Black in Tulum group is a must-join if you're looking for a party. Their events are always poppin', with top-notch DJs and stunning views of the ocean. I also discovered some amazing bars and clubs in the town center, where you can dance the night away until dawn.
**The Not-So-Good Stuff**
While Tulum is an amazing destination, there are a few things to be aware of. First and foremost, the mosquitoes are aggressive. Like, seriously aggressive. Make sure to bring bug spray with you at all times to avoid getting eaten alive. Also, be prepared for prices that rival those of Atlanta - yes, you read that right. Food, alcohol, and hookah can add up quickly.
**Getting Around**
Tulum is an easy city to navigate, thanks to its compact size and abundance of rental cars and bikes. I opted for a rental car and loved the freedom it gave me to explore the town at my own pace.
**Local Eats**
You can't go to Tulum without trying some local cuisine. The tacos are a must-try - they're flavorful and delicious. And don't forget to wash it down with some local tequila.
**Overall Impression**
Overall, my trip to Tulum was amazing. It's a perfect destination for friends looking for a fun-filled vacation, or even a romantic getaway. However, I'm not looking to return anytime soon - mainly due to the aggressive mosquitoes and steep prices. If you're looking for a quick escape from reality, Tulum is definitely worth considering. Just remember to pack your bug spray and sunscreen! My four day Itinerary is now available for purchase below.
