The HandsomeGent Traveler Explores India....

Updated: May 14, 2022

The Handsomegent Traveler takes on India…. again! This time around I explore the famous monuments, rich culture, and hidden treasures of India on a seven-day, multi-city tour.

The highlights of my trip took place in Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur.

My journey began with revisiting one of the “7 Wonders of the World”-The breathtaking Taj Mahal. In route to the Taj Mahal, my private driver took me on a small detour through the scenic city of Agra, India. Agra is a small city with loads of charm, and it is filled with hidden, yet content-worthy, gems.

So, what does the city of Agra have to offer you ask?

While riding through Agra I experienced frequent sightings of sacred cows and rambunctious monkeys freely roaming the streets. My driver suggested we walk through the streets of Agra a bit to get a more authentic feel of the city. Everywhere we stopped we encountered friendly locals who were warm and welcoming. The ‘hustle and bustle” of the busy night markets and the aroma of spices from delicious street food intrigued me, and a quick pit stop quickly turned into a night of shisha, music, and chill vibes. I enjoyed every minute of my stay!

Onwards to Jaipur…

My journey continued from Agra to Jaipur, India. The city of Jaipur, also known as, “Pink City” because of the pink colored bricks used to build most of the city’s buildings, was a content creator’s dream! With picturesque locations on every corner, my photographer and I captured some amazing photos and video footage. Furthermore, the allure of India’s signature dish of biryani rice, the warm greeting of “namaste”, and the lively nightlife captivated me throughout my stay. For a complete cultural experience, I suggest going to Amor Fort, Gatore Ki Chhatriyan and Galta ji Temple.

From the city to the countryside…

My last destination was Udaipur, India, nicknamed the “City of Lakes”, because it is surrounded by bodies of still waters. It was here where I splurged a bit on my accommodations and stayed in a 5-star hotel nestled in the center of a beautiful lake. My stay was all inclusive and I enjoyed a few calm days of self-care.

Overall, my trek through India exceeded my expectations! India offered affordable travel, insta-worthy views, flavorsome food, richness of culture, stunning monuments, and good vibes. I highly recommend adding India to your bucket list as your next travel destination!
